In April we presented our CEIP program for improving the user-friendliness of DocuWare. This program is utilized by DocuWare to capture statistical data about how actual installations are operated, sending this data back to us on a regular basis. From the outset, we placed a great deal of emphasis on the transparency and anonymity of this program. At no time do we register user-related data, such as user name or email address. The type of data we are collecting is documented very clearly and can be viewed by anyone.
DocuWare Cloud fulfills the requirements of the GoBD, Germany’s federal code regulating the electronic storage of business records. Specifically it meets all “requirements to legally retain financial records in an electronic format as well as for data access (GoBD).” This means that in Germany, DocuWare Cloud meets all requirements to store tax-relevant documents electronically and preserve them for the purpose of an audit.
As a DocuWare user, you have the exclusive opportunity at this year‘s CeBIT show to meet with experts in the areas of Product Management and Customer Success. Please come share your experiences and ideas regarding DocuWare with us. You’ll also be privy to a first look at our newest features in Version 6.9, which will be ready for customers starting April 2016.
Since Version 6.8, DocuWare has been supporting Windows 10 in its full functionality. Microsoft officially launched Windows 10 in mid-2015. With Version 6.8, which was available to all our users by October 2015, DocuWare has been offering full support for the new operating system from Microsoft. By including Windows 10 in DocuWare’s comprehensive test catalog, we can guarantee a high level of quality of support for our users to aid them with any issues regarding both previous operating systems and the new Windows 10.
Since 2012, DocuWare has been offering a pure cloud application – truly a pioneer in the field of ECM. The surging demand this past year has proven this strategy to be a good one: by the end of the first quarter by 2015, there were 97 companies paying to be part of the cloud system. By the end of the year, DocuWare anticipates the number to double, thus achieving its break-even point. The number of stored documents and users is impressive – the two million document mark was surpassed in the first quarter of 2015; and by March 31, there were 4,269 users registered in the system.
At DocuWare, everything is all about – you guessed it – documents. But did you realize that you can work effectively with DocuWare, even before a single document has been registered in the system? All you have to do is to make a database entry. This will then make it easier to set up indexing for documents or act as a placeholder for workflows.
With every new version, DocuWare offers many improvements and exciting new features. You already store documents in a secure and well-organized way, are using electronic solutions for complex processes, and have integrated DocuWare seamlessly into existing applications?
